Skilled services for adults in their home, community, or via teletherapy which addresses many facets of functional communication exchange, cognitive communication abilities, and swallowing function, including the following: (areas of specialty in bold font)

• Cognition (attention, memory, executive functioning)

• Voice (LSVT LOUD® certified clinician)

• Swallowing

This process begins with one-on-one or a group interview and moves directly into creating practical solutions and supports. The goal is to strengthen cognitive-linguistic skills, improve communication in daily life, and/or support a successful return to work for the client and those in their support network.

This service is highly customizable and may include:

• Identifying effective workplace accommodations that support continued employment in the presence of a disability

• Developing memory books, communication books, or other simple, low-tech tools that promote independence in daily routines

• Designing an environmental setup plan that makes everyday tasks easier and supports independent functioning

Each consultation is tailored to the individual’s needs and blends client and caregiver coaching with clinical expertise. The focus is on supporting meaningful participation in life, social interactions, communication, and work—regardless of the underlying disability.
