Hi, I’m Cora Pokrifka (M.S. CCC-SLP), a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Executive Functioning Coach, and the founder of Empowered Speech & Coaching.
I started this practice with a clear mission: to provide holistic, person-centered care that honors your unique needs and goals. I was inspired to create a space where adults could receive support that wasn’t just about clinical excellence, but also about genuine connection, flexibility, and empowerment.
My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to be your guide and partner. I combine evidence-based practices with a deep respect for your priorities, ensuring our work together is always meaningful and effective. I love nothing more than seeing my clients discover their own power and begin to thrive in ways they didn't think were possible.
With a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and specialized training in cognition, voice (LSVT LOUD® certified), and communication, I have been proudly serving clients since 2021.
When I’m not working with my wonderful clients, you can find me exploring my new home state of Connecticut. I’m originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, and as a classically trained musician and a proud lefty, I have a deep appreciation for creativity and thinking outside the box. At home, I’m the proud mother of an 80-pound dog named Romeo who keeps life full of joy and adventure.
